She was a little butterfly
Not very social, not really shy
Her wings were pink, like a pretty rose
She has little brown freckles on her nose
She couldn’t find her way home
She was scared to be alone
Her soul is beautiful and sweet
But her heart would sometimes bleed
The little butterfly says she’s fine
But she always let others shine
Little butterfly needs to spread her wings
She needs to let go of the little things
Show her that you’re not going to hurt
Teach her to be confident in a little skirt
Because little butterfly is beautiful on the inside
However, her emotions, she can easily hide
But I know she’s going to be okay
Little butterfly will always find a way
