Wrong Turns
Wrong turns, took me far from home
Many lost stops on a dusty road
Through twisted paths, and the unknown
Yet laughter laced the air I roamed
Twisting trails I’ve never known
Where heart and roots in sync have
Sweat beads trickle down my skin
Birdsongs that invite me in
Breezes whisper tales so old
Emerald shadows cast in gold
New wonders found with every sight
In this journey of pure delight
Friends are by my side so near
With their laughter and their cheer
Through the storm we'll find the sun
Together strong, we've just begun
We stepped on dreams and paths of gold
Each moment is worth a story to be told
Through the valleys peaks I’ll climb
Step by step the world is mine
Forget the straight and narrow ties
For wandering brings a sweet surprise
Every step is a wild unknown
In this happy feeling, my heart will flown
Let's take a turn beyond the stream
Find the path that's just a dream
I walked a wrong round that day
But joy and thrills showed me the way
Found new things that I didn't know
And still I managed home somehow
