You meander through my mind
now and then you being out of sight
but at all times you're there when things matter
though once in a while you even shatter

you meander through my mind
like you just were one of a kind
beside you I will not be running blind
without you I'm out of sight and out of mind

lying right beside you in our coffin
don't ya bother even coughing
we won't be happily ever after
we'll choose our own time for laughter

we're two of a kind I gather
now gone up in foam, in lather
our skeleton to ashes burnt
is thus what we've earned?
