Dressed in autumn colours
worn and done
The old man dances his shuffle
but
The sound of his music was over and gone
Crooked and bend over , he kills time on benches
like a statue
staring though the window of his nursery home
Captured in yesterdays remembrance, or
unexpectedly lost and ran ashore
landed with wet nappy
on family beach , with the Alzheimer syndrome
A last sigh escaped from the old mans throath
He left the world , put away
stiff wrapped up in a wooden coat
Epilogue
When the churchbells stopped ringing and the chimney coughed up
the old mans smoke
The family gathered to take a last bitter pil
Nothing of his money he left them
It was his final will
the old man

- A cold night in...
- A child and the war
- Don’t stop believing
- I want you to say goodbye
- Just look into my eyes
- Please, don't say you...
