Catch If You Can

Willem Bernardus Tijssen

I don't think you know how it hurts
To notice you do believe in all those high
Birds not in your hand;
But not in the real one beneath the sky,
who don't fly away for what he'll stand.

I don't think you know how it could be stronger
To believe my hope will never dies,
That you become aware of the luck in your hand;
Of whom makes your who's and why's
On a daily unnecessary demand.

I don't think you know how it breaks
the strength of a once living heart.
My faith comes along your
doubtful thoughts and say
And makes a brand new start
To become my luck anyway.

I don't think you know how to change it,
That believe we never can;
but my feeling says it's possible
We'll arrange it,
Because with believe you catch
What's easier of all you ever can.
