I wonder
As I flutter trough the raging
storm and thunder
I wonder
why your goodbye
made me sigh
and cry
as if this misfortune
was bashed upon
my chin
driven into a corner
i just crawl
and squall
I see a seagull
hovering high in the sky
near the banks of Hull
humming a hymn
wishing I was him
wishing I could swim
I'ld swim directly to you
feeling as blue
as now I do.
